Bigger battery capacity for X100T

Bigger battery capacity for X100T

The original battery that came with X100T have a capacity of 1800 mAh, this is the standard capacity of NP-95 battery that has been use since the first X100 back in 2011.

If you want battery with bigger capacity, look for third party batteries, there are some third party brand that making NP-95 battery with larger capacity up to 2200 mAh or even 2600 mAh.

So not only cheaper but also the capacity is higher than the original fujifilm NP-95 battery, having bigger battery capacity means you can shoot longer and that's very important.

Here's some of the third party brand that offers higher capacity battery:
  • Wasabi power (2200 mAh)
  • Durapro (2200 mAh)
  • STK (2000 mAh)
  • Powerextra (2200 mAh)
  • Efortek (2200 mAh)
  • Kastar (2600 mAh)
Bigger battery capacity for X100T

You can find these third party NP-95 battery on amazon, ebay, or import directly from china, because i believe these batteries are all made in china, they just labeled or branded in united state, i guess.

I currently use couple of wasabi power and the durapro batteries for my X100T. And from my testing and daily use, i can confirm that these third party batteries are last longer than the original battery from fuji.

Unlike the X100F, the original X100, X100S and X100T uses the same battery type, the NP-95, if you own one of these three cameras, you should consider purchasing third party battery with larger capacity.

Having spare battery is very important for any X100 series shooter, in fact all mirrorless camera should be backed up with tons of batteries because it's currently the weakness of mirrorless camera.
